Michael Robinson is a writer, lecturer and tour guide specialising in art and design, with over twenty years’ experience.

From teaching the subject at university level in London, he has since written seventeen titles on art and design history, and three on travel. Michael is currently writing a book that follows in the footsteps of the Impressionists, and also writing his first novel about the French artist Renoir.

In 2010 he became a qualified Blue Badge tourist guide and has combined his love of history with art, architecture and design to create a number of unique tours, mostly in London. Michael has also taught freelance at the V&A, Oxford Brookes University, and Birkbeck College, London.

During lockdown he also developed a series of art and design tours using Zoom, that have continued to be popular, both in the UK and abroad.
